Welcome! I’m Cablegrrl, the moderator of the Free Knitting and Crochet Patterns group at FiberKind.
Many talented designers share free patterns with knitters as a sample of their work. Yarn manufacturers also provide complimentary patterns to promote their product lines. Free patterns, therefore, help to create and build long-lasting relationships in the fiber community.
Some patterns are available free for a limited time only; others are permanently free. Many of these patterns are brand new and hot-off-the-presses. I’m also including classic designs that have become fan favorites.
On this website, you will find a great variety of knitting and crochet projects: scarves, shawls, shrugs, hats, socks, cardigans, pullovers, afghans, and much more.
